Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

Amaumau ferns, SADLERIA CYATHEOIDES, and Halemaumau Crater in Kilauea caldera, Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, as seen in August 1977. Halemaumau has been in almost constant eruption since 1-3-1983 (it is 2013 at this writing). This image, taken with a 4x5 view camera, shows cars on the opposite rim of Halemaumau when enlarged to 30", 76cm, wide.
Ed began photographing seriously in 1956 when he started shooting in a 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 camera. In 1962 he started shooting in 4x5 film format with a view camera, and over the next 50 years built perhaps the largest private library of large format inspirational, mountain and nature images in North America. He began digital photography in 2007, both adding new images, as well as converting old film from the previous decades, to digital form. All photos are unedited and unaltered except for the digital restoration of the older film images.
