Methuselah Tree, with a germination year of about 2832 BC. For a long time, this bristlecone pine tree, PINUS LONGAEVA, was thought to be the oldest living tree in the world. In 2013, an announcement was made that another tree of this species was discovered to be over 150 years older. This species of bristlecone pine are found in the White Mountains of California and on Wheeler Peak in Nevada. This photo taken
