Description
Deltaform Mountain, 11,234', 3424m, rises pyramid shaped above the Valley of Ten Peaks. It is actually Peak 8 of the Ten Peaks, as well as being the highest of the group, and is also known by First Nation's name Saknowa. It is on the Continental Divide, and is on the border between Banff National Park in Alberta and Kootenay National Park in British Columbia. This view, from the summit of Mt. Lefroy, was taken in August 1971 with a 2 1/4 inch square Zeiss Super Ikonta IV folding camera,.
