Artist's Description

Icefloe Lake, 10652', 3247m, & the Schoolroom Glacier, so named because it has the classical features of a glacier; well defined terminal and lateral moraines, as well as crevasses. Here it is viewed from the summit of the Middle Teton in Grand Teton National Park, WY. Photo taken with a 2 1/4 square folding camera on September 5, 1957.
